Eski Aynali Carsi Bursa, originally serving as the hamam of the Külliye established by Orhan Gazi outside the fortress, holds a unique place in the historical tapestry of Bursa. With the dual functionality of a Çifte Hamam, this structure catered to the needs of the market until the unfortunate fire of 1584 left it significantly damaged. Following extensive restoration efforts, the hamam’s female section found new purpose, serving as a bathhouse, while the male section underwent a transformation into a coffeehouse.

The building endured another round of repairs after the 1958 Çarşı fire, ultimately transforming into a bustling marketplace that stands today as a symbol of Bursa.
