Fire of Anatolia: A World-Class Performance Born from the Heart of Türkiye

Fire of Anatolia is more than just a dance show—it’s a powerful cultural experience that brings together the ancient spirit of Anatolia with modern stage artistry. Founded by choreographer Mustafa Erdoğan, this globally renowned troupe blends traditional Turkish folk dances with ballet and contemporary performance, captivating audiences around the world.

Guinness World Records & Global Recognition

Fire of Anatolia proudly holds two Guinness World Records:

  • Fastest dance performance, with 241 steps per minute

  • Largest live audience, with 400,000 people attending a single show in Ereğli, Black Sea Region of Türkiye

These accomplishments are a testament to the show’s technical excellence and its global impact.

From a National Dream to an International Legend

In 1999, Mustafa Erdoğan began building what would become one of the world’s most iconic dance ensembles. Through newspaper ads, 750 dancers applied to join the project—originally called Sultans of the Dance. Ninety were selected and trained intensively in folk dance, ballet, and modern techniques.

The group made its debut in 2001 and began touring the world in 2002 under its now-famous name, Fire of Anatolia. Today, with over 120 dancers, the group can perform in multiple countries at the same time and is recognized as one of the largest dance companies in the world.
