Temple of Domitian

Some structure ruins take place in Domitian Square which intersects with Kuretler Street and is along the west side of State Agora. There is a fountain in the south of the square and was built in the name of C. Laecanius Bassus in 80 A.D. The Temple of Domitian in size of 23 meters to 24 meters built over an eight step krepis was located in the southwest corner of the square. Architectural pieces of the temple which has a little remains left today, was used in the other structure in Ephesus in the late period. A monument erected in honor of C. Sextilius Pollio in Augustus period can be seen towards the north of the square.
