Temple of Athena

The Palace of Attolus I (241-197 B.C.) and Eumenes II (197-159 B.C.) with an interior courtyard was located in the east of the Temple of Athena and the Library, just inside the walls. A temple was built by Hadrian (117-138 A.D.) for previous Emperor Trajan (98-117 A.D.) Temple of Trajan in Corinthian order, on a terrace at the highest peak in the northern part of Bergama Acropolis.
