Tarsus

Tarsus, as an important center in ancient times, was the meeting place of Roman General Marcus Antonius and Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt in the 1st century B.C. Cleopatra came here a boat for Tarsus Stream (Kydnos) being convenient for transportation in that period.
