It is between Edirnekapı and Eğrikapı. Only the Palace of the Porphyrogenitus remains from Blachernae Palace “which was used in the last times of Byzantine. It is assumed to be from the 13th century. The palace has a rectangular plan directed to East and West, West façade of it is adjacent to the walls. Only the body part of the palace is standing. Its front facade is faced to a courtyard in front of the Golden Horn. Window arches of the structure are made of red brick and white stone which create a beautiful decorative item.
