Kuretler Street forming the center of town continues after Domitian Square in northwest direction and reaches Celcus Library. Street having monumental structures and shops on both sides was repaired because of the earthquakes in the 4th century A.D. Statues and busts of those who favor to the city were also on the street.
Partially repaired Trajan Fountain is can be seen on the right side of the street. Statue of Emperor Trajan was standing in the middle of the fountain where the water was flowing to the pool twice as big as fountain. It was built in years between 102 and 104 A.D.
