Gokceada is the largest island of Turkey and is located in the Northern Aegean Sea.  Gokceada played an important role in the Gallipoli campaign. The towns local mostly survive off tourism and a bustling fishing and farming industry.

There are several different areas of Gokceada including; Cinarli, Bademli Koyu, Derekoy, Derekoy, Kalekoy, Sahhinkaya Koyi, Sirinkoy, Tepekoy, Urgurlu Koyu, Yeni Bademli Koyu, Yenimahalle and Zaytinli Koyu.

Kalekoy is probably the highlight of Gokceada, with its small beach, hillside quarters, Ottoman-era castle, marina and marine national park.
