Asclepius was at the end of a holy path which was 820 meters long and 18 meters wide. Sanctuary area of Asclepius in size of 110 meters to 130 meters was surrounded by columned galleries from three sides. Monumental entrance (propylon) is in the east. The room located in the northeast corner of the sanctuary area in the north of the entrance which was used as a library was the emperor’s room. The structure with a 26,50 meters in diameter circle plan, expanding to all directions with niches shaped as abscissa in the southeast corner of the sanctuary area, was used for medical treatments.
