Antalya Museum

Antalya Museum consists of 13 exhibition halls, children’s section and open-air exhibition. Finds of Karain Cave where an uninterrupted settlement until Roman period are exhibited in Natural History Hall and Pre-history Hall. Ceramics arts, vases, makeup, jewelry are exhibited in Hall of Small Objects; 

God statues which are the Roman copies of Grecian originals are exhibited in Statuary Hall; emperor statues which are the beautiful Roman sculpture examples belonging to 2nd and 3rd century excavated in Perge excavation are exhibited in Hall of Imperial Statues; two sarcophagus belonging to Domitias Filiskas and his family, and tomb steels are exhibited in Sarcophagus Hall. Apart from these, Mosaic and Icons Hall, Hall of Coins and Children’s section are located in the entrance of the museum. Many varieties of works such as Seljuk-Ottoman tiles, porcelains, clothing, and carpets are exhibited in the Ethnographic Hall which consists of two halls. Again, an Antalya house is portrayed in this section. Museum that contains the rich collections of Antalya region can be visited every day except Mondays.
